Dear mem,
Namaskar, at the outset I am congratulating bringing out the journal regularly with trendy editorial and articles.
Specially, the editorial in the last issue (Jan–April 2023), the issue of Multimorbidity and Polypharmacy will gain importance as elderly population will increase with a pace. I am impressed by your suggestion that solution lies in two-way process, where consent, reliance, and cooperation from patients are vital and has to be coupled with patients and compassionate evidence-based care by experts in field. Only glitch is implementation.
I have some points for this vibrant West Bengal API BR.
APIWBB can have its own clinic at an appropriate location as Salt Lake (the eastern part of the city is thickly populated, the hub of health care, and many members reside in the area).
Start providing standard care around the clock.
Thanking you
Dr Surendra Daga
Editor JIMA (2006-9)
EX-CHAIRMAN APIWBB
